Who We Are
wiringharness.co was started by Jacob, someone who has actually manufactured wiring harnesses. Not a software company that stumbled into the space. Not a marketplace aggregating quotes from shops you've never heard of. This is a harness builder who got tired of the way things were done and decided to build something better.
The wiring harness industry has been slow to modernize. Most shops still work off hand-drawn schematics, PDF mark-ups, and back-and-forth emails that stretch timelines by weeks. We started wiringharness.co because we knew there was a faster, more transparent way to go from idea to finished harness.
Built by someone who's actually manufactured harnesses — that matters because every decision we make, from the configurator interface to the way we handle quoting, comes from real shop-floor experience.
What We Build
We build custom wiring harnesses for automotive, racing, EV conversions, and industrial applications. Every harness is built to order — we don't stock generic assemblies and we don't cut corners with off-the-shelf solutions that almost fit.
Whether it's a mil-spec engine harness for a track car, a high-voltage battery harness for an EV conversion, or a control panel harness for industrial equipment, we handle the full scope: design review, component sourcing, assembly, testing, and shipping.
The Tool
Our browser-based wiring harness configurator is free. No login wall, no trial period, no license fees. We built it because good harness design software either doesn't exist or costs thousands of dollars a year — and most of it was designed for enterprise teams, not individual builders.
We want harness design to be accessible to everyone: the race team building their first car, the EV hobbyist converting a truck in their garage, the small shop quoting their tenth job this month. A better design means a better harness, and that's good for everyone.
