AMP Superseal — Specs and Wiring Guide

The AMP Superseal connector from TE Connectivity is a cost-effective sealed connector system designed for automotive, agricultural, and industrial applications. The Superseal 1.0 series features a simple snap-lock housing with integrated wire seals and is available in configurations from 1 to 6 pins. Accepting 20–14 AWG wire at up to 17 amps per contact, the Superseal handles both signal and medium-power circuits. The connector is particularly popular in the European aftermarket and is widely used for trailer lighting connections, agricultural equipment, and motorcycle harnesses. Its low cost and straightforward assembly make it a practical alternative to Deutsch connectors when the extreme robustness of the DT series is not required.
