The Souriau Autosport AS connector is a high-performance circular connector originally developed for Formula 1 and professional motorsport wiring harnesses. Now manufactured by Souriau (an Eaton brand), the AS series features precision-machined aluminum shells with hard-anodized finishes, gold-plated machined contacts, and a bayonet coupling mechanism that provides fast, secure mating under vibration. The connector meets MIL-DTL-38999-derived specifications and operates across a temperature range of -65°C to +175°C, making it suitable for exhaust-area routing and high-temperature engine bay installations.
