The Bosch Jetronic connector is the original electronic fuel injection sensor connector that became an industry standard across European and many Japanese vehicles. Originally developed for the Bosch D-Jetronic and L-Jetronic fuel injection systems in the 1970s, the Jetronic connector style is still used today on fuel injectors, coolant temperature sensors, idle air control valves, and various engine management sensors. The connector features a simple blade-and-socket design with a positive-lock tab and is available in 2 and 3-pin configurations. While not fully waterproof (rated IP54 for splash protection), the Jetronic connector is compact, reliable, and universally recognized. It is the most common connector found on aftermarket fuel injectors and is essential inventory for anyone working on European engine management systems.
