The Metri-Pack 280 is a medium-duty sealed connector from Delphi designed for higher-current OEM automotive applications. The 280 series uses a wider 2.8mm terminal that accepts 18–14 AWG wire and is rated for 25 amps continuous, making it suitable for headlight circuits, fuel pump feeds, power window motors, and relay connections. Like the Metri-Pack 150, the 280 series uses a pull-to-seat terminal design with TPA locks and individual wire seals for IP67 environmental protection. The Metri-Pack 280 is one of the most common connectors found under the hood and behind the dashboard of North American vehicles, and its terminals are stocked by every major automotive electrical supplier.
