The Weather Pack connector is Delphi's original sealed connector system and has been the standard GM factory connector since the early 1980s. Found throughout General Motors vehicles and widely adopted by the marine and powersports industries, Weather Pack connectors use a simple tower-and-shroud design with individual silicone cable seals on each wire. Available in 1 to 6-pin configurations, Weather Pack accepts 20–14 AWG wire and is rated for 20 amps. The system is inexpensive, easy to crimp with basic tools, and replacement parts are available at virtually every auto parts store. While not as robust as Deutsch connectors for extreme environments, Weather Pack remains the go-to for OEM GM repairs, marine electrical, and budget-friendly sealed harness builds.
