The Deutsch DTM 6-pin connector is the highest pin count in the standard DTM lineup, providing six circuits in a compact sealed package for signal-dense applications. It is commonly used for multi-channel sensor clusters, instrument panel connections, and ECU sub-harnesses where thin-gauge wire is the norm. Motorsport harness builders use the DTM 6-pin for multi-channel exhaust gas temperature sensor pods, where up to six thermocouple amplifier signals route to the data logger through a single connector. It is also popular for dash display connections carrying multiple analog gauge inputs — oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel pressure, coolant temperature, and two spare channels. The DTM 6-pin provides enough signal density for most sensor clusters while remaining compact enough to fit through standard firewall grommets.
