The Deutsch DTP series is the high-current member of the Deutsch connector family, designed for heavy-gauge 14–12 AWG wire and rated at 25 amps continuous per contact. DTP connectors share the same IP68 sealing and wedgelock retention system as the DT and DTM series, but use larger size 12 contacts to handle demanding power circuits. Available in 2-pin and 4-pin configurations, the DTP series is the standard choice for battery feeds, alternator connections, winch power, hydraulic solenoid banks, and any circuit where current draw exceeds the 13-amp limit of the standard DT series.
